Larissa Kouznetsova is a Fine Art photographer based in London.
Born in the USSR, she moved to London at an early age, where she has lived for over three decades.
With a background in theatre, television, and film, she has worked extensively as both an actress and in various production capacities.
Photography has always been a passion, gradually taking over as her primary focus.
She works principally in black and white.
Framing and mounting are essential to Larissa's creative process. They transform her prints from mere representations into the embodiment of her initial vision.
Themes of illusions, duality, and self-reflection are central to Larissa’s exploration. Some of the images possess a surreal and dream-like quality, aligning with her artistic approach. Larissa aims to inspire reflective experiences, prompting questioning and contemplation.
